How does the disinfection work? Until now, maximum wearing comfort has conflicted with a strong disinfecting efficacy. However, Menicon's unique PROLEX system now combines both benefits successfully. Only MeniCare Plus with PROLEX can guarantee a 5 minutes disinfecting time and maximum comfort. The PROLEX system is a product that Menicon has uniquely developed that is effective for inactivation of micro-organisms.

How does the cleaning work? Deposits and particles continuously adhere to contact lens surfaces. The ingredient "HYPROMELLOSE" increases the viscosity of MeniCare Plus which facilitates mechanical cleaning with the fingers or palms of the hand. Deposits and particles on the lens surface can then be easily rinsed off.
