Contaview Aberration Control UV from the manufacturer Contopharma
The Contaview Aberration Control UV are monthly lenses from Contopharma. They consist of hydrogel with a water content of 55%. Their unique shape makes these lenses an excellent choice for optimum visibility in all lighting conditions.
Sharp and high-contrast vision
Spherical aberration is an image defect of spherical lenses caused by a stronger refraction of the light rays in the edge regions. When wearing contact lenses, this can be seen by a decrease in sharpness and contrast. The effect is particularly pronounced in dark environments and at dusk. The Contaview Aberration Control UV reduces this refractive error. They are manufactured in a patented process and have an aspherical front surface, the thickness of which is optimized over the entire length of the lens. This results in a clear, sharp image even in situations with unfavourable lighting. People with large pupils, where spherical aberration is more noticeable, can especially benefit from the unique properties of the Contaview Aberration Control UV.
Soft material with integrated UV filter
The Contaview Aberration Control UV consists of Methafilcon A. This soft material is characterized by a short acclimatization time and a low foreign body feeling. The ionic charge state improves the wettability of the lens surface and prevents it from drying out, so that the high wearing comfort is maintained for many hours. The lenses are equipped with a UV-blocker which can help to reduce the effects of harmful UV rays. Contact lenses with UV-blockers do not protect the whole eye and therefore do not replace sunglasses or safety glasses.
Continuous clear vision
With its innovative "aberration control system", the Contaview Aberration Control UV meets the highest demands and enables clear and sharp vision even in unfavourable lighting situations. They are designed for several hours of daily wear and need to be changed only every 30 days if properly cared for.
