The PRECISION 1 daily lens from Alcon sustains the wearer throughout the day with the highest level of comfort, sharp vision and UV protection. Thanks to the Smartsurface technology, PRECISION 1 lenses have a consistently moist surface that protects them from drying out. The contact lenses have 80% water content on the surface, which also corresponds to the natural surface of the eye. The core is made of a breathable silicone hydrogel and provides the eyes with optimal oxygen even on long days. What distinguishes them from Dailies Total 1 is the additional UV protection and the higher water content in the core. With 51% water content in the core, PRECISION 1 lenses are a bit smoother. In contrast, Dailies Total 1 features SmarTears technology as a premium daily lens, which offers added value for dry eyes in particular and protects the tear film from drying out with lipid-like molecules.
Consistently moist daily lenses preserve the eyes
Contact lenses can quickly become dry again after blinking. In everyday life in the digital world in particular, we blink less and less, and our eyes and contact lenses have to do a lot more work. Thanks to the Smartsurface technology, PRECISION 1 daily lenses can hardly be felt at all even on long days and can be worn without restriction. The material of the PRECISION 1 lens consists of a highly breathable silicone hydrogel material, with a core that consists of 51% water. The ratio of material to water influences the wearing comfort and handling of the daily lenses.
